Videotape Direct Transfer to DVD*: consumer analog videotapes degrade over
time (life expectancy is ten to twenty years, depending on how they are cared for
and handled). Additionally, unless they are repacked annually, both picture and
sound can overlap causing multiple-imaging and sound during playback.
To save your precious memories, your family home videos and wedding videos can
be transferred directly to DVD. Copyrighted videotapes may only be transferred
when you or Kalton Communications owns the copyright.

Videotape to DVD Pricing*:
Sorting/Logging: $25 per hour
Hi8 or VHS tape repair: please call for estimate
Transfers: $25 per DVD (up to two hours of unedited video); tapes exceeding 120
minutes in length will be divided, unedited, and transferred onto two DVDs.
Up to four unedited video tapes may be combined on one DVD at no extra charge,
as long as the total length of combined video does not exceed 120 minutes.
Editing of video prior to transfer: $50 per hour
Media and packaging: DVD-R media, disc label, and slim line case are included.
DVD Authoring: Add titles and chapters to your edited video to DVD transfer for $25
DVD case & personalized label: $10
Videotape to Digital File Conversion*: $25 to convert up to 120 minutes of
unedited video to your choice of one of these formats: .AVI, .MOV, or .MP4
The charge to place the digital file on a Data DVD, customer provided USB Flash
Drive, or external Hard Drive is $15. Kalton Communications can provide a USB
flash drive or external Hard Drive at additional cost (prices vary, please ask for
